A new addition to my start of a family. Born April 18, 2008, Alexis Andrea-Mae. 5 1/2 weeks early, delivered by c-section, 3 pound 2 ounce healthy and strong baby girl. Doctors said she would be 5 pounds and were wrong. When tested she was at 31 weeks which puts her at 9 weeks early. Emergency c-section for me, blood pressure was getting way to high. A three day stay in the hospital for me and another week for my baby girl. Had to fight with the doctors to be able to take her home. She never had to be on any machines and came into this world all on her own. It is still a miracle to me how something so small can survive all on her own, but she has done it! We are happy to have her home and thriving!!!
